e.g. wasting time
Yesterday I witnessed a scandal.
I was slightly late for my 3:30pm Quantitative Models in Finance class. Walking down McCormick Road, just before the gates, I saw a police car pull over the RedBullMobile. I couldn't help but notice the two 20 something year old attractive females inside. They were obviously being pulled over because they were driving through the gates behind a UVA vehicle and it was before 4:30pm. The students at the bus stop next to the gate snickered and "ohhh"-ed, red bulls in hand.
Now, of course I'm wondering, do these RedBullMobile girls have titles? What do they tell people they do for a living? "Oh, I get paid to be hot and give out fake energy boosting liquids to college students".
Now, this picture I found clearly is from Europe, note the license plate (maybe even the middle east? note the palm trees). But it is of the same type of mini-truck-car that I saw yesterday in Charlottesville.So, is this RedBull giveaway international? And my real question is,where are the hot RedBullMobile guys???? Now, that might make me change my mind about how repulsive the "drink" is.
Then I got to class and my amazing professor, Keenan, complemented my fur hat :) awesome.
i agree on a few fronts. red bull is a DISGUSTING "DRINK". honestly, it has no real redeeming qualities. Oh, and their marketing scheme is brilliant. Their target audience being young males, having young and attractive females riding around in obnoxious "red-bull mobiles" is perfect for that segment. I do understand your feeling left out, however haha. How unfair of them to not target you and the corresponding female contingent of the market? Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWere they super tan? Like they spent one too many months in a tanning bed? And super straight yellowy grossly blonde? If so, I might have seen them trying to plauge ODU students in their little gross mobile as I was on my way to drop off our rent check.

ReplyDeleteActually they were brunettes. But yes, super straight and glossy hair, unnaturally tan for the first week of February.
So glad I sit in an office reading blogs all day instead of driving one of those RedBullmobiles around.
